Had a 3.27 lsd set up in my EB-XR8, went to 3.73 - what a difference! Still cruises on high way speeds without trouble but acceleration is totally different. Job was done up in Sydney - top job, great advice, good price. Would recommend to any manual XR8 drivers.
The place was called Bosnjak Engineering in Blackfriars Pl Wetherill Park. Their advice was spot on, they used genuine ratios/parts - not used skyline gear (that most places will modify to suit). They can also tell you how the revs will be changed in each gear. With the 3.45s I couldn't pick much difference in punch so that's why I went 3.7s - only thing is you'll have to get your speedo/odometer recalibrated ($200 in Canberra - less in Sydney) but with the 3.45 set up, the guys can install an adapter for around $25. Give Terry or Dave a call.
