Rear End Seal (T5OD Gearbox) in EF
Ok Guys,
The last week the EF had a clutch change, while that was done a new seal was put at the rear of the transmission where the damper sits and connects to the tailshaft.
Since then it has still been leaking actually worse than before it was changed. Went back to the garage and they replaced the whole damper/bush.
Now it's still leaking, when stationary it drips abit but not as much as after a drive.
Does anyone know what the story with these things are, do they need time ie a fewy days or weeks to seat in properly so it stops leaking or is there anything else that needs replacing.
