a guy i know is sending me a centre from a bw diff but he cant get the pinion gear out can anyone explain so i can tell him how to do it i,m only a newbie at the diff game if you read my other thread in here

I assume he has the hemisphere out. Undo pinion nut. Using appropriate tool, press or punch pinion out into housing and beyond. (no tricks to it). Without being rude, if you can't explain how to get it apart, you have buckleys of getting it back together correctly.
