Shift Kit

Heyas - Quick question -
Wanted to find out what kind of shift kits people have used, and what the results have been - I currently have a 4 speed auto (91LE).

Changed the goal.. Screw the turbo, I want a 300rwkw NA I6

Re: Shift Kit

I made a 20 ohm/1 ohm non-switchable setup. In ordinary drive it's a bit more fresh with shifts, but when I flick it across to SSS it really hammers through the gears

Wheelspin @ gearchange @ 1/4 throttle in the rain (+LSD) = fun/scary! Especially in Heavy Traffic <tm>

Shift kits rock!

Re: Shift Kit

Go to www.mechanicalforums.com & register there (I don't want to simply steal their info & give it away, I'd rather others check out their site & obtain the info from there)

It's free, there's no obligations, it's just like registering here. To be honest I think I only posted once there!

The resistors trick the auto ECU into shifting harder by changing the signals the ECU receives from the auto.

Cheers
