Would anyone out there know if I had 1L too much fluid in my C4 would this cause slipping on the 1-2 change under WOT?

Do you experience harsh upshifts or downshifts? How long has it been over full. If it's been awhile then youv'e probably stuffed it up due to the too high oil pressure from overfull trannie. Sometimes if your oil is black or brown and or under full then it could be oil related. But when over full it's probably caused a mechanical or hydrolical malfunction. Same thing happend to mine. Never overfull trannie. When changing fluid always leave under the limit on the dpstick where it says add 0.5 ltre then operate the engine for ten minutes and select every gear two three times. Then while engine still running check fluid level again and it should have gone up slightly, then add a tad more oil. go for a drive and chek again. It should be level with or a tad under the full mark. That is normal and best.

my car goes quicker with hardly any oil in the tranny... it leaks out over a day or so, so.. i really dont care....

when we had the wrecking yard, a car caem in for a new tranny.. we pulled out the dipstick, and itwas to the otp of oil.... and thoguht huh? put in in, and oil came out from the top as we were putting in the dipstick... there was THAT MCUH OIL IN IT right up to the top of the tranny dipstick!....
