Speedo Accuracy after Diff Change in an EL

I'm going to lower my diff ratio from 3.23 (I think, as there is no tag on the diff) to 3.45.

What do I need to do/buy to ensure the speedo and trip computer remains (resonably) accurate.

Thanks,

Mick

Update to a 23 tooth speedo gear.

I assume this means that there are no computer changes/mods required, just the speedo gear?

Raptor originally pointed this one out.

Have a look at the following site:
http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbi...yre_bible.html
Half way down, it has a tyre/wheel calculator, so you can see how far out your speedo will be to see if you actually need to make changes.

Ford sell the gears for under $20, easy to replace.

Yep! That's what I did to mine. I've got an auto though. Not sure about the manuals. It seems to work. No speeding tickets just yet!
