ZC-Cruiser

Just converted from a BW40 to a C4 and it seems like the speedo cog is not the same size (cable will not install with cog on it)

Does anyone know whether the BW cog and the C4 cog are different?

Also, with a 2.77:1 diff, what colour cog do I need for the C4?

Yes they are different.

I might be able to find out tomorrow, if I do I'll post first thing. What type of speedo cable are you using, old type cable, new type electical?

Sorry, can't find a listing.

I'd take a guess & suggest an 18 tooth gear.

There used to be about 6 different gears available (how many teeth).

Try the Conventry Group http://cglonline.com.au/coventry/ look under Automotive and get a phone number for your state and order one.
Try it out & get someone to follow you while your doing 60. If they indicate your doing a higher speed than 60 try a bigger gear (more teeth), and visa versa for lower speeds.
