I;ve just swapped over my 3.23 ratio for 3.5 in the diff, and need to know which speedo drive gear i need to get(or how many teeth its supposed to have) for the BW 5-speed gear box i have installed in my XB coupe. Ive spoken to few different mechanics & they've told me that there's supposedly some secret formula i need to use to work out how many teeth it should have or what colour it should be? any help would be most welcome//

go to your local ford dealer, tell 'em ur diff ratio, wheel size, etc. and they will sell you the correct colour/teeth gear drive. I'd be guessing a 21 or 23 tooth???
