Manual or auto?
Manual is easy, there is a bilo with a wire coming out of it on the right side of the gearbox.
Take this out and pull the gear off.
Put the new one in and do the bolt back up.

auto is a snap provided it isnt the worm gear inside the extension housing

One 6 or 7 mm nut and you are done

Jack it up one side slide under with an 8mm ring spanner and in a minute its out. flip off the retaining circlip and cahnge the gear and put it back in.

5 minutes tops. Helps if the exhaust is cold though OUCH!
