I would get it checked a.s.a.p.If needs fixing and no warranty,I suggest go to cluch or transmision specialist to get fixed.Sounds like or could be bearing ceased, and wearing out pressure plate.
sounds like the problem my brother had on his old EB, although he also had a slight rattle when the clutch pedal was up. The bearing you mentioned rings a bell but his clutch forks were tending to bend/break as well. Get it checked out immediately, it cost 2 new gearboxes, also in the engine bay check around the fire wall were the clutch cable goes in - it tends to fatigue & crack, putting more stress on the clutch pedal assembly. I would recommend all manual Falcon drivers do this because its so common that the local Ford dealer in Canberra has firewall reinforcement plates on the shelf.
ANOTHER PROBLEM THAT I HAD WITH MY ED XR6 WAS WERE THE BRACKET FOR THE CLUTCH PEDAL ATTACHES TO THE STEARING COLUMN, THIS CRACKED. HAD IT REWELDED & BRACED , IT IS AS GOOD AS NEW NOW.

YES very similar the shaft bent through the bedal box.Pig of a thing to replace.Made squeek every time I used it.Till I lost all travel.Should never happen. Was 18 months old then.No warrenty either!
Just did that job myself. I was driving the car around these past few months and it was getting harder to press the clutch as well as making annoying squeaking noises.
Bitch of a job seeing as I had to drop the dash and steering column but it was worth it to save major $$. I'd forgotten how light the clutch was when I fixed it too!
Great news!!
got it fixed under warranty, didn't cost me a cent. The clutch is so nice now and so is the gearbox.
BTW, the bearing fell apart as soon as they took it out.
Hi guys - chalk up another one the the proken pedal box problem. I just had to have mine repaired last week. Good thing my dad's a mechanic so it didn't cost me a bomb.
