Does anyone have higher rpm stall convertor fitted to a four speed auto? I have a EF Fairmont that is really slow off the line, would a different stall convertor help get my times down from 16.3? If so what type should I get (i was told a non lockup?) and what rpm would be most suitable?

I do. Can't recall if it helped my launch times, so I'm not really much help to ya.

Do you know what stall speed your convertor is? How does it effect normal driving around?
