Well i got mine in the mail today. fitted it up, took about 1 hour(i had a little problem with one bolt, so i had to take the console out to access it from the top.).
Once fitted i took the car for a drive and whow what a differance, once it beds in it will be great.
It has cut the shift length in 1/2.
The action is a little knotchy atm but i have been told they loosen up/wear in, with use.
I will keep you posted.
NO, it is four bolts to remove the old shifter and put on the new one.
As it is near new it is still quite stiff, Philstoj has one and he says it took a while to loosen up, but still quite firm.
It is heaps better than the old spoon in poridge shifter.
The other option is to put in an XR6T T5 shifter, they are heaps shorter than tthe E series.
The stick itself is no shorter, it is the throw of the stick.
