Does anyone know if you can chuck a T-56 into an EA? What other Tremec transmissions can you put in (aside from the T-5), in order to handle a bit more than stock power?

Just wondering this, cause I was looking at the T-5 specs and Tremec only suggests you put 238Nm of torque through it, and the 3.9MPFI puts out 338 at stock, let alone with some mods (even extractors + cam would probably get 350+Nm of torque out of it).. Maybe ford hardened the Falcon T-5 a bit, but still....

Yup can be done, probably overkill for an I6 EA though, unless of course you have a turbo slapped on the side of your engine.
