Any one had a close look at the main gear casing of a 97/8 EL xr6 T5,It looks like the castings mould is set rough.but had any one heard of a gear casing crack in a T5,Looks a bit sus to me.
The only T5 main case cracks I have seen were from impact (bottoming out on the case itself) or from doing the case bolts up tight with a rattle gun. I have never heard of an outright case failure.
