Hi guys
I'm thinking about getting a V8 EF Fairmont Ghia when I sell my car.
If I want to convert it to manual, where can I get a complete changeover (supplied & fitted) in Perth? and for how much?
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers
Doesnt seem like your getting any bites so you might have to do the hard yards yourself. Make sure you get at least 3 quotes before you proceed - make sure you are not being ripped off. Wrecking yards specializing in fords are a good start, but I found that they dont seem to know a lot about late model cars.
Being a V8, expect to pay a lot for the conversion ($3000+). I would also talk to Mal Woods as he can at least let you know how much the conversion would cost, and might even know somebody over there that he would trust to fit it.
Walliston Wreckers were quoting a full EF version T5 convert for the 6cyl's for $1500 when i was looking through the quokka the other day. They might do a good price for the V8 also, give em a call Hope that helps a bit
