Does anyone know if there is a difference between
a) input shaft lengths between T5 fitted to XF and E series
b) overall length between engine mounting face and gearbox face on the XF & E Series bell housings.
Just trial fitted a E Series bell housing and it looks as though only about 10mm of the input shaft will engage the spigot bush.

a)Same on XF and all E series I6.
b)Irrelevant due to 'a' above.
10mm is adequate support for input shaft.
