Taking care of trans during storage

Hey guys,
I'm currently rebuilding an XD, the project may take a few years so i was wondering how to i take care of my auto trans while it's off the road. The car is run for about 15min once a week, but how do i stop the bands from drying out?? I may not keep the motor/trans but i would like it to remain working so i can move the car & maybe sell it later.

Who said white is poxy!!!!!!!!
