My buddy has got a '91 Grand Marquis in which we swapped out the motor and AOD for another stock AOD, however the new(er) 5.0 is using carburetion instead of the native EFI system. Im aware that he will need the Lokar TV linkage kit, but my main concern is the lock-up TC.
He ripped the engine out without me being there so I did not see where the four wires from the tranny go... They look like they are connected to the TC lockup solenoid? And from there I assume they get into the engine bay harness at some point... help me out?
Is the PCM now useless to us? How does the TC know when to lockup?
I really need to help him get this done, your help would be much appreciated!
