torque converter

ok having some problems with my gb meteor a guy suggested the torque converter how do i check it etc?? how do i kow when its ****ed

Not much to root in a torque converter except bushes & seals. Is it noisy? Leaking oil? Has there been any debris in the pan when you've had the trans serviced? (You have had it serviced haven't you?)
