i am running 3.7 gears, a 28 spline axles, 4 pin from a xr8, and a detriot locker.
the 28 slpine can be found in any ed or newer diff
the difference between ea-ed and ef and newer is the ef and newer have a different input pinion length and will reguire a different tailshaft.
the 28 spline axles are just like whats in a 9 inch the center is similar, the weakest part of the whole thing is the gearsets, and even so, the latest gear out now have a different curviture on them and now can handle more abuse/power then older diffs.
6boost's car runs a borgie with 554 rwhp, he has completed a stoopid amount of full noise passes on the strip on slicks and over 3000k's on the road and 80+ dyno passes. still he has had no problems.
