juarez Wannabe mechanic :) Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 694	Tranny service Alright, I'm getting a full service done on my EA's 4spd tranny probably Monday.. Just wondering if theres anything specific I should know, to avoid having my pants pulled down? The transmission has probably never been serviced (to my knowledge), has a cooler the side of an a4 sheet of paper out front, fluid is still slightly red in colour, and shifts get VERY rough when the transmission gets hot.. new trailing arm bushes helped a little, but the whole dash can still shake a little when it does a rough gear change. It has also started slipping a fair bit lately as far as I can tell.. I'm gonna get a full flush + service Any pitfalls?
