Trans Dumps Fluid? - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Went in the shed tonight and noticed a large pool of trans fluid under my 250 XA Fairmont. The fuild appears to be leaking around the bell housing.

The car has not been driven for 2 months and was fine when i drove it. Not sure how long the pool of fluid has been there, I only noticed it tonight.

Any ideas what this could be?

YOU WILL FIND THAT BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT DRIVEN THE CAR FOR AWHILE THE FLUID DRAINS OUT OF THE CONVERTER AND THE TRANS OVER FILLS AND THE FUILD COMES OUT OF BREATHER .
NOT MAJOR PROBELM JUST RECHECK FUILD LEVEL ARFTER START UP
