roll Trans manuals

I have an EA and my son has an NC Fairlaine, in both cars the tranmissions have done 300,000 + and are starting show signs of wear, I am a competant mechanic and have overhauled my share of C4's and Borg Warner 35's, but I am looking for a book to help me overhaul the two 4 speeds, I have tried various places online and off and am having trouble finding a manual at a reasonable price, can anyone help?

sorry to hijack the thread, but ive got what looks to be a stuffed C4 in my cortina burnout car, it need to be going for a burnout weekend down south in 3 weeks. I'm either looking at a replacement box or rebuilding the C4, i noticed you said you've rebuilt them before. would you be able to help at all?

Re: Trans manuals

With a bit of shopping around you should be able to find in a secondhand bookshop in the suburbs somewhere a full workshop manual (bound as one volume) that includes the trans section for around $50 (I did).
