trans or transfer case
Whats up guys! Ok first question; I have a 99 ranger super cab 4x4 auto 3.0 that i just bought , and when i drive, it will start to smoke a little bit. its not really bad but i can kind of see it and definitely smells burning oil. It looks like its coming from the transfer case. I thought the tc uses its own fluid but when i filled my tranny and checked it a couple of days later, it seems to be fine. but it still smokes. so i dont know whats going on with that and also my 4x4 high and 4x4 low indicators flash every now and then. will those go on if im losing fluid? second if i lose all the fluid in my tc, will the truck be undrivable?
