just changed motors from one ea to another because my original one was stuffed. the transplant was fine but i cant seem to start the car. when i first tried to start the car it would turn over fine but not fire. now all i get is a clicking noise from the starter motor (i think). the battery has plenty of juice, i also tried 2 other batteries and the same thing happens. terminals on the battery are tight and sprayed with wd-40. so i dont know what to do now.

any help would be appreciated..

sounds like a bad earth or a faulty starter relay or something similar.

check these.

did you reconnect the engine earth strap?

maybe the solenoid in the starter mover which moves the gear onto the flywheel is stuffed?

Could be either of the two mentioned or both.
Is all the ECU wiring sorted and connected?
