hi all

to the point, i have fitted the 9" to the leafs in my XD and i was wondering if the tailshaft will line up properly, it looks to me like the borg uni's are in a slighty different possie...
the 9" is slightly to the left lookin towards the fuel tank (if you know wot i mean) and a bit higher.
Had the springs fitted with another leaf and lowered 40mm.. i need to know whether its normal or we put the centre in the wrong way (im not sure whether you can do it)
please any help would be muchly appreciated

The left axle is 4" shorter than the right.That makes the centre look a little off but the pinion is also offset to the right .The driveshaft should still be fairly central in the tunnel..No you can't fit the centre in the wrong way..You will need a different rear uni though to fit the 9" from the BW.You prob already know this anyway but just thought i'd check.

yeh i already have the new size uni's, it doesnt look entirely offset, but just different thanks gregaust, great help, the tailshaft goes in tommorow and should be terrorising the roads tommorow, not that i will be doing anything illegal on public roads ofcourse :D

also, the original tailshaft off the borgwarner fits fine, but is there any clearence issues with the toploader and orig tailshaft, cause theres around 15mm more to go, and the car is on stilts so will it be enough? thanks
