NAPARM

Car is a supercharged (9psi Powerdyne) AU, auto. I'm looking at getting my diff converted to an LSD and getting lower diff gears put in, with the aim of improving acceleration down low.
What gears should i get? I was thinking 3.7:1
Note also that the car is a daily driver and i don't want it reving it's tits off all the time.

3.7 would be ok.
i have 3.9 in mine and its a manual, so with the auto id go 3.7.

Seing the Auto has taller 1's and overdrive gears than the manual, a 3.9:1 would suit an auto more than the manual.

Have a look at a gearbox calculator - there are a few out there. I made my own in excel, or try http://www.johnmaherracing.co.uk/gearcalc.htm .

You can work out roughly max speeds in gear etc.

This one ( http://www.ukmotorsport.com/misc/gears.html ) is more confusing to use, and is only mph, but gives you mph / 1000 rpm as well, which will make it easier to work out cruising speeds etc. . .

Personally, I wouldn't go higher than 3.7's
