whats the chance of the diff (sdduming its stock) being limited slip.
i was bogged in mud and both wheels spun. this could either mean its limited slip or as a friend suggested - its in its dying stages. (he said on normal diffs when they are about to die both wheels will spin)
what do you reckon?

Most fairmont ghia's have LSD's. Usually 2.92 ratio. If there is a tag it should tell you everything, if not try the tailshaft thing.
Most single spinners will spin both wheels if the load on them is the same, if one tyre grips better than the other it will lose power and the other will spin harder. (My XF only has a single spinner, but I have burnt rubber up
both sides of my car right now!!)
