I was just wondering what the stock diff ratio would be in my car. I know the 6's came with 3:45's, but what about the V8's? I'm guessing 3:23 or 3:27? Thanks,

Are you sure? My EL Fairmont has 3.23, I thought the only difference between Fairmont and Ghia was LSD was standard in Ghia. Correct me if I'm wrong :)

I am pretty sure it would have come with a 3.23 from the factory.

I've got an EL Fairmont Ghia 5.0L and it's got 3.45 diff gears. Not 100% sure, but I think that is the difference between the ghias and the standard fairmonts, the ghia came with 3.45, although i've read someone else that all the 5.0L's come with LSD, doubt it though. For a summary of all that crap I just said:
Fairmont Ghia 5.0L - 3:45:1 LSD
Fairmont 5.0L - 3:23:1 single spinner
