Hey fellas.
I have an EA Wagon.
Does anyone know what other later model diffs can be fitted to the EA?
Like can an EF/L wagon be fitted?
Or maybe something from a XG/H?

Anything will fit, that's what angle grinders are for
Seriously - The EF sedan diffs will fit an EA sedan, and I see no reason why the diffs from the wagons would be different.

anything from EA to EL will fit on your car. That gives you a choice of 2.77, 3.08, 3.23, 3.45. Diff doesn't have to be out of a wagon to fit into your car. The suspension is different, diff centres are a universal fit accross the entire range of falcons.

If you change the whole diff though, you will need a wagon or possibly ute diff as the mounting brackets are different.

also the handbreak system changed ED==>EF.

Thats made me think now. What could be done with the brake assemby? could you just swap the discs/calipers & all that?
