Hi all,

Quick question, Ive got a XE 6cyl with the standard BW Auto and i have put a 9 Inch in with a 3.00:1 ratio, so my speedo is out.

What teeth gear do i need for the BW to get things right again.

You guys helped me out once when i asked what i would need when i finally get to pop my V8 and c10 into this car "which was 19 teeth".
Would it be a 19 teeth gear i need this time but once suited for the BW and not the C10.

I got a 4km over speeding fine today $131.00 + 1 point so i want to get this thing fairly accurate for now so i don't get anymore fines while waiting to put the V8 in.

Almost. You will probably need a pink 19, not a tan. The BW speedo gear is the same for auto and manual, not like a C4/toploader.

Have answered this MANY times before..

Pull out the speedo sender unit from the box, and use a light to inspect the color of the drive gear IN the box.

Write down this colour, your final drive ratio, rim size and tyre profile.
Walk into any genuine parts shop and they will look it up and hand you the correct driven gear.
Also get a new retainer clip for it...they do break.

All for under 5 bucks!!!!
