What is the difference between the EA I/II and EB I/II series Fairmont Ghia, besides ABS. Is there anything major?

The premium sound system changed in EB2.

There were comestic differences as you prob know, as well as the intro of the 4L in EB2. Smartlock also can in play in late '92.

Other than that, quite similar

A brief summary:

EA II Fairmont Ghia: 4 speed auto available, with 3.08 diff ratio
EB: analogue instruments, sports suspension available, different wheels etc; V8 available
EB II: ABS and other new safety features standard, updated engines/transmissions, and Smartlock on later models as mentioned already.

im pretty sure EB I fairmont ghia had the digital dash - remember BlackEBs car? ive seen others too...

Jase, his car was a Fairmont. It wasn't a Ghia. :wgaf:

I'm sure that the digital dash was phased out with the EB2's.

Series 1 eb ghias have digital dash

Yep, mine too.

How about the C/C face? Would that be different in the EB Evolution series?

I think the door handles were colour coded for EB Evolution; my EBI handles are "black" (but more of a charcoal colour now hehe *UV/weather*)

EB Evolution introduced the black climate control etc face, and also phased out the digital dash. The ED introduced colour coded handles on most models. However, my understanding was that the original EB Ghia had analogue dials standard. I could be wrong though...
