I’ve got a 2.77 LSD diff in my XE 351 Fairmont and plan to convert one day to a 3.23 LSD 4 pinion 28 spline setup, but have already installed a 2500-3000 hi-stall converter. In the interim, could this damage my C4 or my diff?

Yea I think the trans fluid is cool enough. I removed my petrol tank, ('cos the XE runs straight gas) and mounted an old aircon radiator with it's own shrouded electric fan, which is activated by a temp switch on the radiator.

I'm still trying to decifer all the relevant discussion threads so I can understand exactly what options I have in order to change diff ratios without paying an arm and a leg for new components.

Thanks for your input GREGAUST.
