XC 302 Diff Centre

Hi guys.. some might remeber my previous post on diffs.
I have finally worked out that im just gonna change the centre (BorgWarner). Currently is 2.92:1

NOw the thing is.. i want LSD and looking ratio about 3.2 -3.5
some ppl have told me to get 3.45 but i am worried that i will be drinking even MORE fuel.
Is this tru?
Would 3.23 or around about that ratio be better off?

Re: XC 302 Diff Centre

Depends on the nature of the engine and the rpm @ 100km/h.

If you're not driving a manual you're really just steering.

Simply what RPM do you want to cruise at 100kph?

The lower the ratio (higher number) the quicker acceleration you'll have but the more fuel it'll use when cruising.

Are you planning to go 351 in the future? Now could be a time to go for a 9"!!

Power by me 360rwkw
