Re: XE 9 inch diff conversion
Stock swaybar wont fit, have to get custom one, they are the same price as a std replacement swaybar but be sure to ask for one to suit 9".
The easiest way is to cut the axle tubes off both the diffs you have and fit the XE tubes onto the 9" centre section. I'm not sure which brakes you would run, but using XE/F disks would suit the XE's handbrake, although you may need a different handbrake cable if you had drums? not exactly sure.
Also I think with the 9" you need to shorten the tailshaft, with the std shaft and a 9 my car had only 5mm or so slip which isn't enough, and eventually it got stuck into the box, and I broke a uni.
