Hey guys my mate and i have just put a 351 in his xf. The only thing left to do is put the t-bar in for the c4 but are having troubles with the rod hit the trans tunnel. Is there a way around this with out cutting the tunnel. If any one has done this conversion what setup did you use. Cheers

Most people would use an aftermarket shifter such as a B&M megashifter or B&M quicksilver. They run a cable so it avoids the issues your having.

If you want to run the linkage? You'll have to knock the tunnel back. Just beware under hard load or twist is causes the box to change gears. That issue cost me $2500 in cyl head repair.

Ouch that would have hurt. Cheers for that. My brother in law has a spare hurst shifter so i will grab that off him.
