Just a quick question..

Which XF's, if any, were made with a LSD?

Fairmont Ghia's came standard with LSD's. Some utes and fairmonts have them as they were optional. The easy way to tell them apart is LSD's have a red filler plug, open have black.

were fairlanes standard or was that an option?

I'm led to believe it was standard on the fairlanes, but i've seen a couple without LSD's so i'm not 100% sure.

Check the filler plug color!

cool. picking up the ZL on friday from the grand parents but they had a reco diff put in last year as the other one was shot. it cost then about $500-600 for the diff so im hoping that its an LSD still.
