Hi, Can anyone let me know wether you can remove both the engine & Auto transmission together from an XF Falcon? Thanks

Yep you sure can have done it myself wit an engine lifter, little bit fiddly but can be done

Make sure you have the front of the car up a fair way off the ground (although this may be limited by the lift of the engine hoist) so you have room to swing the transmission down when lifting. 3 mates works well - one on the crane, one guiding the engine out of the bay, and one underneath to guide the tranny extension housing. Probably a good idea to remove the radiator too as there is not much room to swing the motor/tranny. Have fun! ;-)

Thanks, I got it out with no dramas, Just had to remove the water pump as i couldn't get the fan off.
