I've got an XF 85' S-pak EFi, And shes a bit slugish on the gear change, and its only four speed. I was thinking of putting a T-5 in it and for a while i been looking for an LSD for her, but i heard that is more then its worth to put one of them in, because of the disk brakes. I'm not looking to spend to much cash.
the t5's on xf's are pretty good there is an xf turbo in bendigo vic that runs the t5 and she is nice n strong, the 5 speed is quicker than the 4 as the 5 has lower ratios so it has better acceleration not to sure on LSD's but get a 3.25 and see will go well with the 5 speed
i have a t5 and lsd for sale at the moment if you're interested...i am in vic though, t5 from and XF (got bellhousing to suit) and i have a 2.77 lsd from a fairmont ghia. it's in mine at the moment but it goes bloody hard and is surprisingly quick off the line.
