Does anybody know if a manual gearbox from anything later than an XF will fit in an XF? I hate the XF gear handles as everyone I've had have $hit me around, So I was looking for something a little better.

Any body got any ideas? As I am considering an auto to manual change over in my XF, I want something decent but not too expensive... so that rules out most 5 speeds.

XF was the last car to run 4 speed manual. EA onwards run the T5, one from an EA to EL will fit quite easily.

any extra bits need or is it a straight fit?

All the auto to manual stuff, of course, and a T5 to 250 bellhousing.
