Can someone please post the differences between an XF T5 compared to an EA T5. The box that I got from the wreckers turns out to be completely stuffed. The wrecker has an XF T5 there that he is going to pull out for me tomorrow. Is it only the bellhousing that is different or are the ratios different as well??

Any help ASAP would be great!

You're not having much luck with the T5's buddy, I have no idea about the differences, so this post is pointless. None the less... good luck matey. :)

The only difference is the bolt centres on the rear mount. If you slot the EA mount, it will go on. They are the same internally.

Thanks for the info WBT56!! I still have the stuffed T5 so I will just raid whatever I need off it. So the extension housing is the same?

This T5 conversion is gunna be the death of me!! I've been stuffing around trying to get stuff organised for over a month now. All going to plan, it's going in on the weekend. Driving round with a clutch pedal is killing me! I can't wait till it actually has a purpose! lol.

$500 for a full conversion kit.

Came with box, pedal box, shifter, clutch, flywheel, ECU, wiring loom and probably a few other things I can't think of right now.

what are the power handling capabilities of of the alloy case 5speed? like the ones out of an EA?
