Assume T5? All depends on how you drive. You can break it with a stocker if you flog it. I wouldn't want to see more than 180-200rwkw. Remember, this is a lower spec box than the AU version, which the likes of AP and Grunter have (carefully) jammed so much HP through. Ben.

thanks ben.first time on and got a reply.a disappointing weakend overall? that answers my first question in respect to improving my low output of 185kws was looking at obtaining 250ish so any idea where a start up grading the box to handle more power no use doing any mods to the motor if i cant get it to the ground. need to figure the dollars before i take off the road. thanks garry

Garry note that Ben is talking about power at the tyres not at the flywheel (I know you might be too!) there's a difference.
thanks outback. yes its been a few years since a played with a toy and it was just about horsepower, top loader 9in inch no problems.how things have changed. my aim is to catch up to the pack.hence the question where do i start the motor or does the box need work to handle the power i can produce from the motor to enjoy a fast ute after the birth of the ba260 and the xr6turbo.thanks for reply. one less oil top up for loundes and seaton and it would have been a great weakend.
