01 3.8 fuel pump diagnosis
before i drop the tank on my mustang i would like to confirm that the pump is truly bad. the car started having a "no start" problem off and on. i have changed the fuel filter and after several attempts at trying to start it i still have a dry filter. i could also have a module that may not be allowing the pump to operate. i have power at the inertia switch when i turn the key to on but the power there is continously "on" not for only the 3-5 seconds. i would like to jumper the power to the pump to see if the pump will run that way but without a wirring diagram am at a loss as to which terminal plug to use.
