Question 03 Ranger 3.0 V6 Squeal
My brother has an 03 Ranger with the 3.0 V6 and it squeals every time he accelerates. I have checked just about every place for an air leak in the intake, replaced the PCV valve, put a new air filter in, and cleaned the throttle body and intake. The only thing I can think of it being is a vacuum leak, but I am not sure were it would be. Has anyone else had this problem with their ranger or can tell me were the leak might be coming from? Please help if you can.

It could be a loose accessory drive belt.

Sometimes the belts can make some quite loud squealing sounds when slipping if loose.

We got it fixed. It was the exhaust manifold gasket.
