Hi!

I have a trouble starting the engine for the first time in the morning - I wait for the warming light to turn off, then wait for the click from the engine, and then I start the engine, but it needs more than 10 seconds to start.

Later ignitions are OK, but sometimes they take some time, too.

I checked the compression, and the cyllinders are 13, 17, 14 and 13. Could it be the cause? 107760 km passed...

Could someone send me the picture of this engine?

Favourite on these are the glow plugs and the fuel filter head/lift pump. To test the glow plugs, first check they all receieve a live feed when the ignition is turned on. Next, they need to be out and a live supplied to the end where the nut goes on, and earth the body (careful!) DON'T touch the far end where it goes into the cylinder head, as the name suggests the plug glows RED HOT. All plugs should heat and glow quickly. Any plugs that do nothing will be faulty.
Filter head is found on the right of the cylinder head with main fuel pipes on it, filter is below, sometimes they leak around the hand priming unit on top of the pump, most of the time it's just trial and error.
