1300 lb of torque?

I've been offered a car with a 400 chev in it. This is what ive been told it has.

FULLY RECONDITIONED 400 CUBIC INCH CHEV ENGINE

PETE JACKSON GEARDRIVE, DIGITAL IGNITION, MANLEY VALVES- ALUMINIUM ROLLER ROCKERS-FULLY PORTED HEADS- WEIAND ACCELERATOR INLET MANIFOLD

BOTTOM END FULLY BALANCED

750 HOLLEY VAC SEC + LOTS MORE

DYNO 260+ BHP,AND A MASSIVE 1300 FT/LB TORQUE AT WHEELS ( WITH ONLY 9.3 COMP RATIO !!!)

NEW MUSTANG CLOSE RATIO TOPLOADER GEARBOX- HURST INDY SHIFTER- RACE DRIVESHAFT- NEW 10 BOLT SALISBURY LSD 3.08 RATIO

Im wondering about the torque figure, and i've asked him for a dyno sheet. Do you all think this is legit?

Thanks.

Re: 1300 lb of torque?

With dyno torque figures youve got to take into account gear and diff ratio, since they are torque multiplers :)

Re: 1300 lb of torque?

Mate... If it produced 1300 Ft/lb of torque it would produce significantly more than 260 horses.
