Question 150-170rwkw Ebii

Hey pplz, I gots an EBII GLi I6, I got redback cat back exhaust and CAI, im getting Pacemaker race headers in a few weeks. I was wondering what can i do to achiece my 150-170Rear Wheel KW dream......Thank you

from what i've heard on the eb's you will need more than a set of headers to get to 170kw? sorry if im being naive i dont know wot are the standard specs

some boost will do it on the standard motor.

First off decide if you want Supercharged/Turbo or if you'd rather stay NA.

You'll need heaps of $$$ and don't forget the transmission and probably the diff will need to be upgraded as will the cooling system.

Your current setup will probably be close to 110rwkw. The next step will be a cam and to get to 160-170 you'll probably need a chip too.

My I6 has 161rwkw with a JMM DEV5.
You EB with a DEV5 package should be similar.
Your diff, tranny, and cooling system will all be fine, so long as it's in good condition.


4L I6, naturally aspirated producing 173.5rwkw.
14.410 @ 96.49mph with street radials.
What's that?..... Did I hear you say TQE power?

fit a small-ish T 3 turbo... Should put out around 160 to 180 rwkw... get a manifold made up and all the piping and intercooler as well and your set!!!
