I am attempting to restore a '77 Escort Van.
The Build Plate has a Vehicle Identification No. as CK50TD 60486.

It also has Engine E
Trans V
Trim A
Paint 9

Can anybody tell me what the E, V, A, and 9 mean, as far as the original vehicle is concerned.

Any help greatly appreciated.
