I just bought this motor home and it started missing to the point where it backfires and stalls constantly. I replaced the plugs, wires, distributor cap, throttle position sensor, map sensor, fuel pump and the fuel filter but it's still missing. Although it doesn't stall anymore it still backfires and I can't drive past 45 mph. it feels like it has a choke stuck, but it is fuel injected. Any suggestions?

has it been sitting for a few years? maybe a valve isnt closing, do a compression test to make sure the engine is mechanically sound.also put a vacuum gauge on it while its running, that will tell you if theres a valvetrain or blocked exhaust problem, does it have a catalytic converter?
