I drove it home Christmas eve, and I havent driven it since.

I tried starting it today, and the engine started to smoke a little bit. The muffler was making a "put" sound, and it wouldn't really get going. The engine never really got going, and it was just completely missing.

Exhaust system? I had the whole thing redone in July.

I am assuming the worst. But this is pretty much what happened. It drove fine Saturday. Is it most likely dead?

It could be an ignition problem. Have you tried it again? See if there's spark at the plugs when it cranks.
